K-9s Against Cancer is an annual 5K fun run/1 mile walk, which is open to humans and their canine companions. This family-oriented day of festivities will featuring music, food, games, giveaways and demonstrations and more! Net proceeds will benefit The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation, CSU’s Animal Cancer Center and the Foothills Animal Shelter.

| WHO: | More than 500 dog lovers and their furry friends from throughout the metro Denver area. |
| COST: | $30 – Adult Participant ($20 for Additional Adult Family Members) $15 – Children ages 6-17 Children 5 and under are free! |
| WHAT: | Grab your best furry friend and come join us for a fur-tastic 5K fun run or 1 mile walk. Enjoy a fun, family oriented afternoon of food, contests, music, prizes, and giveaways in the Bow Wow Boulevard expo area. We are raising much-needed funds for three very worthy organizations: The Bow Wow Buddies Foundation, CSU’s Animal Cancer Center and the Foothills Animal Shelter. |
Important Event Guidelines:
- Water will be provided for you and your dog at beginning and end of the race
- Walk or run only if you and your dog can comfortably go the distance
- Must use 6 ft or shorter non-retractable leash
- All dogs must have current ID tag and rabies vaccination tag
- Please bring poop bags to clean up after your pooch
- All dogs must be spayed/neutered
- Puppies under 6 months are not recommended
- All dogs must be on leash at all times
- Dogs showing aggressive behavior will be asked to leave
